Candy Crisis game for Intel based Macs!
Posted on 16:10 by Unknown
In an older blog post i mentioned a game-- candy crisis, a puyo puyo clone. For people who don't know what i am talking about, candy crisis is similar to tetris or dr. mario. It is a puzzle game -- a think quick on your toes game.
Apparently someone fixed to source code and tweaked and compiled it to work on intel based macs.
I learned of the candy crisis intel mac version at the source forge forum here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/candycrisis/forums/forum/507508/topic/3401996
this is the latest version of candy crisis for intel macs running lion or mountain lion:

I don't know if that version would run on older Mac OSX 10.4 (tiger), 10.5 (leopard), or 10.6 (snow leopard) but you could try this older build:

I downloaded the lastest build and it runs and works on my new Intel based Mac mini running Mac OSX 10.8.2.
I am a happy gamer! My favorite game-- candy crisis now works on my Intel based Mac.
this is a heads up to all my readers who own a intel mac and wants candy crisis on their machines.
enjoy!
EDIT: this version is intel native code for us mac users who don't and can't run rosetta.
